OUR COMMITMENT
Psychological advice, motivation, education, professional and personal development, coaching, financial support in the field of food, medicine, clothing or for any needs.
But the most important part of my job is appreciating, listening and hugging!
We are also happy to support Martha Mgange's wonderful project "Orphanage for albinism childrens" and regularly visit some Maasai villages in Monduli to provide them with the basic food and medicine they need.

Of course, first and foremost we want to help sustainably, helping people to help themselves!

HOW IT ALL BEGAN ...
Our founder Gabriele Reiter had to reorient herself for health reasons and therefore began studying to become a psychological consultant in 2014. In 2017 she had to complete a 3-month internship and fulfilled her childhood dream, namely to do it as a development worker.
So she made her way to Tanzania to the Women`s Foundation - Pippi House.
Since then she has been involved in the area at her own risk and financially
Arusha - Tanzania.
Full of zest for action and tirelessly, she accompanies people in need with psychological advice, motivation, academic and professional development, coaching and financial support.

The entire Step Up Development team listened eagerly to their stories. Some visited her in Arusha and were impressed.
In 2019 the team decided to found a non-profit organization. Since then, the organization has been supporting this heart project in the Maasai region of Arusha on a voluntary basis and full of joy! The team currently consists of our voluntary core team in Austria with 6 members and the Tanzanian NPO - sister association Step Up Development - TZ with 6 members.
